Detailed explanation |
The Akira Wada model PAW, guitarist of FUSION band Prism who has had a major influence on many guitarists, both professional and amateur, is now in stock! The head and coloring of this instrument are very similar to the PAW-3 from the late 1980s, but it also has a Schaller tremolo bridge and the associated recesses, P-PROJECT-stamped pickups, and rods that can be adjusted from the side, giving it some late 1990s specifications. P-Project had been producing a wide variety of custom guitars even before it became a subsidiary of FERNANDES, so it is likely that this guitar was made as a special order around that time. It features a mixed active/passive SSHS style, also known as Akira Wada wiring, with 2VOL2TONE controls and the tone can be switched individually between hum and single by pushing it. The mini switch allows you to switch between humbucker/3 single/3 single (front always on), allowing you to enjoy unprecedented sound variation. There are noticeable scratches and dents, signs of use, and dullness/rust on the metal parts. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the rod and is almost straight. Although it is close to straight, if judged strictly, when the treble strings are adjusted to be straight, the bass strings are slightly bowed forward. There are no particular problems with playing. The frets are generally worn, but this does not interfere with playing. |
