Product overview We have received a Danelectro from around 2000, when the now defunct Kyowa Shokai was the distributor, not the current Kikutani Music! The Danelectro from the Kyowa era has cute pegs with a retro design, which is a nice feature! Currently, the 56 model comes standard with metal saddles, but these days, wooden saddles are used like the vintage models, giving you a cheaper sound that is more typical of Danelectro. Also, the decorative tape on the side of the body from the Kyowa era shrinks and easily peels off, but this one is still firmly attached, which is a plus!
